Halloween Themed Birthday Card feat. Lawn Fawn Batty For You

I can’t believe that today is October 1st! We started a new card challenge at Cloud9 Crafts, called Creepy Crafting! What better way to get (cute &) creepy than with the adorable bat from Lawn Fawn?

Batty For You is one of my favorite Halloween stamps. The bat is the perfect size for an A2 card, and the sentiments are so funny!

I’ve used the Nighttime Sky stencil to create the moon. This stencil has a separate moon, so you can also use it as a mask.

To create the moon’s glow, I used my lightest color (Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass) and worked my way outward, using darker colors. I really took the time to blend all the colors together, so be patient if you’re going to try it too!
