Christmas Card feat. Lawn Fawn Giant Holiday Messages
Hi there!
Let me introduce our 2024 Christmas cards! I’ve created a bunch of these to send out, and while it was a lot of work, it was totally fun to do. I scheduled an entire day so I could really get into the zone!
For the background, I used the beautiful Lawn Fawn Winter Sprigs Background Stencils. I worked layer by layer with my tiny blender brushes and some Ranger Distress Oxide Inks—starting with all the greens, then the reds, and so on. I used my Gel Press as a base to hold my cardstock in place, which made it easier to work faster without sticking the cardstock down or having to clean my work surface frequently.
Since not all of my friends and family celebrate Christmas, I thought "Warm Winter Wishes" was the perfect sentiment for my cards. To really make the sentiment stand out, I muted the background by layering it with vellum. This diffused the colors and gave the whole card a softer look.
I’m curious—are you all done with your Christmas cards yet? Let me know in the comments section below!
