We’ve moved in!
On May 1st, we finally signed the lease contract, and received the keys of our new shop space!
The plan was to have a few days to build and move the furniture, and for Jur to install all of the new shelving, before moving all of the products over. Cornelie and her husband would help us move the rest of the shop on Saturday May 4th, but, Jur and I had so much good energy, that we had finsihed a day earlier, and so we asked Cornelie to pick up her husband so we could move Friday afternoon! At the end of the day, our little bedroom at home was empty, and our new adventure had begun!
We’ve spend all weekend at the shop, to settle in. Milou had Spring Break but she loves the new space, and she was happy to play and craft at my desk. And of course, our sweet friend “iPad” also gave her some company!
On Monday May 6th, Nancy and Marieke came over to help us, with organizing all the small stuff, like tools, embellishments, ink etc. We all had such a great day together, and also really got a lot of work done!
