Music Themed Birthday Card feat. My Favorite Things Cassette Tapes

What better way to say anything, than with music! Or so, I think.

This week, it’s my brother’s birthday, and this musical set from My Favorite Things is perfect for him. He used to make mix tapes all the time, and during our summer road trips ,we listend to them all.

I’ve used two MFT sets, the Casette Tape Die-Namics, and the Mix Tape sentiments stamps. There is also a fun Walkman Die set, but I kept that for another time.

To save battery life for our walkman, we often used a pencil, or our finger to turn the wheels of the casette tape when we wanted te rewind, or forward a song. So much more romantic than just pressing a button!

I miss the old days, when listing to music took some time, effort and attention..
