Exciting news!

Hi there!

I am over the moon to finally share that we are expecting a little Yuki or Jur in April 2025!

Crazy!!! On our 10-year anniversary, we discovered that I’m pregnant, and ever since, Jur and I have been on cloud nine. For the first 10 weeks, we decided to keep it a secret from Milou (and therefore from everyone else). But on September 26th, we finally had our 10-week ultrasound and received confirmation that our little one is growing and doing well!

That evening, we organized a movie night with Milou, and after dinner, we served a very special chocolate bar with our tea.

On the outside, it said: "Hooray!" And after opening it, the wrapper revealed: "You’re going to be a big sister." It’s still surreal to say it—Milou is going to be a big sister!

Her reaction was perfect—she hugged my belly and asked several times if it was really true.

Today, I’m 21 weeks pregnant and looking forward to the second half of my pregnancy. I’m due in early to mid-April, which means I’ll get to fully enjoy nesting indoors during the cozy winter season! :D
