Dog Birthday Treat Box feat. Lawn Fawn Cake Slice Box

Last January, I was the lucky winner of a giveaway from Marlies (@marliesruseler). She hosted a $50 Lawn Fawn giveaway for no particular reason, except that she is incredibly generous! I had never won a giveaway before, so I was totally surprised and over the moon!

Although I have access to almost all Lawn Fawn products, that doesn’t mean I have everything. I have many sets on my wishlist, and one particular set had been on my wishlist for the longest time: the Lawn Fawn Cake Slice Box. Because the cake slice isn't something you typically mail to someone, it always ended up back on my wishlist. But this time, I had no excuse, it was the perfect gift to myself!

We frequently get to dog-sit our furry friend, Leopold, not just during the week, but also for a few weeks in the summer when his family goes on vacation. Leopold is a Leonberger, a big dog, and with his size comes an equally big heart. He holds a special place in our hearts, and since he celebrates his birthday at the end of this month, I wanted to create a dog-themed cake slice for him.

I am sooo happy with this die! It's so easy to put together, and decorating the cake is the best part. Milou has already made two slices, just for fun!
