Thank You Shaker Card feat. Pinkfresh Studio Floral Border
Hi there!
This week, I needed a quick thank-you card, and I thought that the hot foil, die, and stencil combo could be a great way to create a beautiful yet fast card. I've never used these hot foil and stencil combination before, so I was curious to see how it would turn out. The end result is beautiful, although I do need to practice more with my detail blending tools. Some details turned out a bit harsher than I would have liked.
I really like the splatters on the Lawn Fawn Fog cardstock. This time, I've used the Gansai Tambi watercolors instead of my usual Distress Oxide inks. I like the Gansai Tambi splatters a lot more, because the drops have a bit of dimension and do not soak into the cardstock. The colors are vibrant, opaque, and bright.
To close the shaker window, I’ve used a layer of white tule.
Let me know what you think and if I should give this style another chance!
Have a happy day!
