Halloween Invitations feat. Lawn Fawn Fangtastic Friends

Hi there!

I'm so happy that I could hold on to my promise and that I can show you one more card for this fall. You can't really see it from the picture, but this was my biggest project of the year. Milou wanted to throw a Halloween party for her 6th (!!) birthday, so I had to make 8 invitations for her. I made a few extra just in case Milou forgot someone, so in total, I've created 12 cards!

Although it was a lot of work, I really enjoyed every moment of it. I was thrilled to finally stamp out these adorbale bats from the Lawn Fawn Fangtastic Friends set, and play with the Lawn Fawn Nighttime stencil. It felt really good to prioritize a creative project instead of all the daily work and chores.

Because I just had a little bit of time, I didn’t want to think hard about the design of the card. The design of the card is from Mindy Eggan and I also took some tips and tricks from her for ink blending the sky and the moon. I used my personal favorite colors of Distress Oxide Ink and my favorite copic color combinations to make it my own.

Did you make Halloween cards this year, and what products were your favorite? Let me know in the comments below, and I will see you all really soon!
